ACES QATAR LTD. formerly ACE QATAR LTD is a marine cargo surveying and loss adjusting company established in 1974 in State of Qatar to serve the needs of insurance and shipping industry both internationally and locally. Prior to that, we were working as a separate department within Arab Commercial Enterprises insurance group which was established in 1960 in Qatar.
Our long years in this industry has established us as one of the prominent surveyors in Qatar and are indeed, well known to many and trusted to deliver an exceptional and prompt service. When you instruct us to survey, you can rest assured that your needs are well met. Our staff are well qualified and experienced to handle marine and transportation claims with proper solutions. When staff surveyors are not properly competent to do a job, we are able to appoint competent and specialised surveyors required for the particular job from our panel of pre-qualified surveyors with adequate supervision from our side to maintain the same degree of competancy expected from us.
We aim to be different from our competitors. In addition to the higher degree of competancy and professionalism we provide, we are ethical in our thoughts and practice. We avoid acting for two conflicting parties (conflict of interest) in a particular instruction where possible. We also maintain confidentiality in the data provided to us and are compliant with data protection and money laundering laws.
We have been representing many renowned insurance companies around the world in U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, Japan, China, U.S.A., Singapore etc. for their survey requirements all through the years. In addition to the survey, we also are claim settling agents for many of them. In respect of local insurance companies, we are well known to them for our expertise in marine cargo surveys and claims and we are serving them in these fields for many years. We also handle marine related matters for the local ship agents too. We are also correspondents for some of the prominent Protection and Indemnity (P&I) Clubs and investigate the liability claims for ships covered under their P&I cover. We liase with the ship agents and port authorities to ensure that the ships sail in the fastest possible time in case of any disputes.
Cargo condition surveys may be carried out at any stage, prior or post shipment, for verification, precautionary or insurance purposes, or to provide an early indication of potential defects which may lead to project delay if undetected.
Hull and Machinery survey are carried out in order to identify the damage or loss of the incident on Hull and Machineries and to also witness and supervision of repair operations, cost of the same, causes of the incident and estimates of the loss or damage.
ACES is representing some of the prominent International Group of P&I Clubs since 1974. When something goes wrong with a ship, a port call or a cargo that could lead to a legal claim, a speedy response is critical from an effective P&I (Protection & Indemnity) correspondent..
